Purpose
The Emerging Technologies Academy is designed to promote greater awareness and adoption of college-supported technologies by fostering cross-divisional partnerships that support faculty and staff. Through collaboration, faculty and staff learn to leverage innovative tools and share practical ideas to enhance teaching, learning and institutional effectiveness. The Emerging Technologies Academy is a collaborative initiative between the Teaching and Learning Center, Human Resources and Educational Technologies.
Audience
Faculty and Staff.
Time Commitment
Emerging Technologies is a hybrid academy where participants will meet for 5 core sessions in the fall semester. In addition to the Core Sessions, there are three required Elective Sessions that must be completed to graduate. Each session is 2.5 hours in duration.
Format
A mix of online and in person sessions.
