Purpose

The Developing Excellence in Learning and Teaching Academy (DELTA) Online is an asynchronous professional development training designed to welcome and onboard dual credit and adjunct faculty to South Texas College. DELTA Online will provide participants with support and guidance as well as information on faculty expectations, resources, policies, procedures and creating a college environment in the classroom.

Audience

All new dual credit faculty are required to successfully complete the academy within one semester. Adjunct faculty are strongly encouraged to complete the academy.

Time Commitment

Participants will have six weeks to complete all course requirements, with a new module released every week. This asynchronous online academy is offered every fall and spring semester.

Online Asynchronous.
