Purpose
The Chair Academy supports program chairs with the knowledge and collaborative support necessary to foster educational excellence and student success in their departments. In this supportive environment, chairs can openly discuss typical challenges and opportunities faced in their leadership role, ask questions, and receive guidance from experienced peers and institutional leaders who serve as speakers or panelists.
Audience
New program chairs.
Time Commitment
Chair academy participants will meet for 7 sessions in the fall semester. Each session is 3 hours in duration.
