Visual Arts

South Texas College believes your passion for artistry can be shaped into a celebrated and rewarding career. Whether you have an interest for sculpting inspiring pieces or thought-provoking conceptual art, we want to help you flourish.

What You’ll Learn

The program allows students to combine studio courses in art with a broad range of liberal arts courses. This equips them with the skills, values, and knowledge needed to develop as an artist.

Students will additionally train to arrange exhibits and portfolios as they prepare to become an essential part of the creative workforce or plan their transfer to the university of their dreams.
