Binational Educational Symposium 2026 Beyond Borders: AI, Innovation and Higher Education

The Sixth Annual Binational Education Symposium (BES), hosted by South Texas College and a consortium of colleges and universities including Texas A&M University, and Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, will address the critical topic of artificial intelligence. BES 2026 will showcase faculty and student conference sessions, as well as academic and entrepreneurial competitions.

Faculty and students are invited to submit their presentation proposals in the following tracks:

  • Natural Resources and the Environment
  • Humanities
  • Education
  • Engineering and Innovation
  • Business and Economics

This event is open to the public, free of charge, and will be held at our Pecan Campus on March 5, 2026.

The opening ceremony will be held at the Pecan Campus Student Union, Building U, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
