2019 Summer Camps


Through the use of models and simulators, participants in the aviation camp will learn about the theory of flight, airplanes, control surfaces, and engines. Students will take a field trip to the McAllen Airport for a "Hangar Hangout." The "Hangout" will give students the opportunity to meet with a Federal Aviation Association Certified Instructor. This camp introduces participants to the basics of sewing. Participants will learn the parts of a sewing machine and how to set it up. Participants will then create small projects that will help them get comfortable with using a sewing machine. Additionally, participants will learn how to use a needle to stitch by hand. Application Required.
