Daily Screening

Please do not report to or access campus if you are exhibiting new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19, as listed in the Screening Checklist. Prior to arriving to campus, employees, students, and campus visitors, must, on a daily basis, screen themselves by using the COVID-19 Screening Checklist.

COVID-19 Reporting

Complete and submit the COVID-19 Reporting form if you:

  1. Tested positive or have been diagnosed with COVID-19,
  2. Exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19 regardless of vaccination status, or
  3. Have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, excluding if you are fully vaccinated or have had COVID-19 within the past three months.

COVID-19 At-Home Tests

South Texas College offers COVID-19 at-home tests to employees and students, in limited quantities. Covid-19 at-home tests can be picked up at one of three locations after appointment has been made with the Department of Public Safety.  Please contact the Department of Public Safety at 956-872-2362 or send an email to stcdps@southtexascollege.edu

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring an outbreak of a respiratory illness causes by a novel (new) coronavirus named 2019-nCoV, and referred to as COVID-19.

The health, safety, and well-being of our employees, students, and community remains the highest priority for STC. Below, the College is providing the college community with updated information on the global pandemic and health concern.

*Remote – applies when an employee is exclusively working remotely or off-campus. Note: specific to the purposes of the COVID-19 dashboard, flexible work schedules such as working half the week on campus and the other half remotely is not considered working remotely.
