ESL (Ingles Como Segundo Idioma)
Aprender un segundo idioma puede ser una parte esencial de la vida cotidiana. En South Texas College, todas las herramientas que necesitas para aprender inglés están a tu disposición con nuestras clases de ESL o Ingles Como Segundo Idioma. Este programa de idiomas proporciona a los estudiantes todos los componentes para aprender un nuevo idioma, desde la pronunciación básica hasta la escritura avanzada y la comunicación en el lugar de trabajo. Hay varios niveles de aprendizaje disponibles, así que no pierdas tiempo y comienza contactando a STC hoy.
Examen de Colocación
Recomendamos que estudiantes tomen un examen de ubicación antes de matricularse para determinar su nivel apropiado. El examen es gratis y administrado:
Plaza de Pecan (McAllen)
- Martes a las 10 AM
- Cada segundo martes a las 5:30 PM
Campus de Starr (cuidad de Rio Grande)

Passages ITerm: 520244 CRN: 70149 Course Number: ESL 0251.K01 Location: Pecan Plaza 1-804 Date: Aug 19 - Sep 23, 2024 Days: MTWR Time: 9am-11am Instructor: M Flores This is the first part of our last level and this course is a 40-hour course. The course emphasizes using Standard English grammar in writing paragraphs and short compositions. Students work on developing effective simple, compound and complex sentences. Students write descriptions, narrations and paragraphs in which they give reasons for their opinions. They will then move on to short, multi-paragraph compositions.
