Activity Director

Length: 90 hrs

Prepares you to become an Activity Director. This position is available at nursing homes, hospitals, and Adult Day Cares. Topics include knowledge of the state rules and regulations, skills in preparing activities that are therapeutic and cognitive for adults.

Certified Dietary Manager

Length: 279 hrs

Provides the education requirements needed by dietary personnel to be able to take the credentialing exam to become a Certified Dietary Manager in a non-commercial kitchen. Topics include foodservice management, human resources management, nutrition and medical nutrition therapy, and food safety.

Certified Nurse Assistant (CE version)

Length: 120 hrs

This program will give you the basic skills and abilities essential to provide basic care to residents of long-term care. It will also include a basic clinical course that is a health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional.

Certified Nurse Assistant (Credit version)

Length: 208 hrs

The C.N.A program is a preparation for entry level nursing assistants to achieve a level of knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to provide basic care to residents of long-term care facilities. Topics include resident's rights, communication, safety, observation, reporting and assisting residents in maintaining basic comfort and safety. Emphasis on effective interaction with members of the health care team. It will also include a clinical course that is a health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional.

Certified Nurse Assistant Professional Development

Length:

Prepares you to update your certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Positions are available at Home Health Agencies, Nursing Homes, Rehab Centers, or Hospitals. Topics include update on rules and regulations, and other related topics.

Computed Tomography

Length:

Prepares you to be a Computed Tomographer. Positions are available at hospitals or Labs where X-Rays are performed. Topics include use of technology and knowledge of area.

CPR for Health Care Providers

Length: 4 hrs

Prepares you to handle cardiac and respiratory emergencies at a healthcare provider level involving adults, infants, and children. Topics include CPR and choking lifesaving skills as recommended by the American Heart Association.

CPR Heartsaver

Length: 4 hrs

Prepares you to handle cardiac and respiratory emergencies involving adults, infants, and children. Topics include CPR and choking lifesaving skills as recommended by the American Heart Association.

EKG

Length: 130 hrs

Principles and procedures of 12 lead electrocardiography (EKG) which may include stress testing and Holter monitoring and care and maintenance of equipment and exam area.

EKG/Phlebotomy

Length: 254 hrs

The Phlebotomy/EKG Technician training program will provide training skills as a Phlebotomy Technician as well as an Electrocardiography Technician. Combination of skills can be used to obtain employment in hospitals, physician offices and a number of health care settings.

First Aid

Length: 4 hrs

Prepares you to handle injured and/or ill persons. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies as recommended by the American Heart Association.

Emergency Care Attendant (CE version)

Length: 80 hrs

Prepares you to become an Emergency Care Attendant (ECA). Position available at Ambulance Companies. Topics include cognitive, psychomotor, and effective domains the ECA/Medical Responder in accordance with credentialing agency.

Emergency Care Attendant (Credit version)

Length: 128 hrs

First responder course in emergency medical care. Emphasis on requirements of national and state accrediting agencies.

Health Information Management Clerk

Length: 224 hrs

This program provides an instruction in medical office procedures including appointment scheduling, medical records creation and maintenance, telephone communications, coding, billing, collecting, and third party reimbursement.

It will also introduce you to health IT standards, health-related data structures, software applications, and enterprise architecture in health care and public health

ICD-9/10

Length: 9 hrs

Presentation and application of basic coding rules, principles, guidelines, and conventions utilizing various coding systems. Abstract information from health records for appropriate code validation; code procedures and diagnoses; and apply decision-making skills to ensure proper sequencing.

IV Sterile Admixture and Compounding

Length: 

This course will prepare pharmacy technicians to perform IV admixture of sterile products using proper aseptic technique and processes that are consistent with the latest revision of USP 797 standards.

* TSBP required Course meets new TSBP training requirements for all pharmacy technicians who compound sterile preparations administered to patients.

Medical Billing and Coding

Length: 

Skill development in coding to prepare reimbursement forms in various health care settings for submission to payors. Coding of health records using various classification systems; execute reimbursement forms; and apply revenue cycle management procedures.

Medication Aide

Length: 140 hrs

Prepare you to become a Medication Aide. Positions are available at Nursing Homes/Rehabilitation Centers. Topics include Identify the guidelines for non-licensed nursing personnel employed in licensed health care agencies regarding the roles and responsibilities associated with medication administration; references for drug pharmacodynamics; medical abbreviations, symbols, terminology, and common equivalents

Medication Aide Update

Length: 7 hrs

Prepare you to obtain updated certification as a Medication Aide. Positions are available at Nursing Homes/Rehabilitation Centers. Topics include rules and regulations from the state, and updated pharmacodynamics; medical abbreviations.

Pharmacy Technician Trainee

Length: 112 hrs

Prepares you to become a Pharmacy Technician Trainee. Positions are available at local pharmacies. Topics include Pharmacy history, Communication and Customer Care, Pharmacy Law and ethics, terminology and abbreviations, plus, Math computations.

Phlebotomy

Length: 124 hrs

Prepare you to become a Phlebotomist. Positions are available at labs, clinics, hospitals. Topics include skill development in the performance of a variety of blood collection methods using proper techniques and standard precautions.
