Tuition and Fees Calculator 2023‑24
Residency
- In-District ($160 per credit hour) includes Hidalgo and Starr County residents.
- Out-of-District ($170 per credit hour) includes all other Texas residents.
- Non-Resident ($250 per credit hour) includes all other United States and International Students.
In-District and Out-of-District residents have a $4 Student Activity Fee per credit hour.

Nursing and Allied Health Division
The tuition rate for all programs under this division includes an additional $75 per credit hour.

Competency-Based Education
Students enrolled in a CBE Minimester may take multiple CBE courses at a flat rate, per Minimester.
Any other regular, non-CBE courses will have the usual tuition per credit hour.

- Special Program Fees: Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Fire Science, Law Enforcement, Nursing and Allied Health programs, Technology programs and Welding.
- Incidental fees, including 3 rd attempt fee, developmental studies courses (> 18 credit hours) and other non-course related incidental fees such as parking permits and late payment fees.
