Tutoring Appointments
During this time, students who wish to receive on-campus tutoring must make a tutoring appointment.
- Request a Tutoring Appointment
All on-campus tutoring is available by appointment only. Request an appointment by filling out the Request a Tutoring Appointment form located below. After you have completed and submitted the request form, you will receive a Pending Approval email indicating that your request has been submitted. A CLE staff member will contact you to confirm your appointment and give you instructions on how to access the CLE where you will meet with your tutor.
The available spaces, resources, and services within the CLE have been necessarily limited in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Please follow these tips for requesting a CLE tutoring appointment:
- Check the Tutoring page to see schedules for each campus with tutoring availability by class prior to submitting a Tutoring Appointment Request to see if a tutor might be available at the time you need. This will help the CLE confirm your appointment more quickly.
- Verify that your phone number and email address have been entered correctly before submitting your request.
- If a CLE staff member does not contact you to confirm an appointment as quickly as you’d like, please be patient. There may be longer wait times to confirm appointments due to hours of operation, peak request times, and campus closures.
- Visit our Hours & Contacts page to contact a CLE via phone with any additional questions about making an appointment for on campus tutoring.
- So that we may employ proper social distancing measures, only individuals who have confirmed appointments may use the CLE on campus.
- Please view the sections below to learn our Appointment Guidelines and the Directions for Entering the CLE at the campus where your session will take place.
- Appointment Guidelines
In order to adhere to proper social distancing guidelines and to ensure the health and safety of all students, faculty, and staff, please follow these steps in order to access your CLE.

- CLE appointments are for up to 45 minutes a session, with a maximum of two sessions per day per class.
- CLE resources such as textbooks and calculators are permitted to be used only under staff supervision, and the student is required to wear gloves while using the item to minimize contact with the item.
