Membership Representation: Membership is open to any regular, full-time employee of the college. The President, Vice Presidents and Division Deans shall appoint representatives to the Institutional Effectiveness Data Team According to the following distribution: 

President’s Office

           -From Balance of President's Office & Directly Reporting Offices:  1 Voting Member &

                1 Alternate

Vice President—Information Services & Planning

           -From Technology Areas—1 Voting Member & 1 Alternate

Vice President—Finance and Administrative Services

            -From Business & Finance Areas--1 Voting Member & 1 Alternate

                -From Facilities Areas--1 Voting Member & 1 Alternate

Vice President—Student Affairs & Enrollment Management

 With this distribution, the Team is comprised of 36 voting and non-voting members, with a total of 18 votes, of which 9 represent faculty.  If both the member and alternate are present, only one vote may count.  The alternate may vote in the absence of the member.  The IE Specialist and the Institutional Effectiveness & Assessment (IEA) and Research & Analytical Services (RAS) Directors and researchers are ex officio members and will be allowed to cast a vote only to break a tie.

a.   Each representative shall serve a recommended minimum two-year term, unless relieved of service by the appointing Division Dean or Departmental Vice-President.

b.   Vacancies occurring in this Team shall be filled by alternates, with a replacement alternate appointed by Division Deans or Department Vice-Presidents.
