Special Programs
The mission of The Office of Special Programs is to encourage and assist people who are traditionally underrepresented in post-secondary education because of income, family educational background, disability, or other relevant federal, state, or institutional criteria, in the preparation for, entry to, and completion of a post-secondary education.
In fulfillment of this mission, our office administers the PASS and Upward Bound Programs and seeks out other funding sources to establish programs that will promote retention of STC students and provide them with other services which may assist them in receiving a certificate or degree or in transferring to a four-year institution.
