xBelow is a note and some advice for "lost" students. I decided to put this text here, since a couple of students apparently cannot find the Worksheet Quizzes, and more students are bound to click on the link for this page. It has also been posted at other places...

Advice 1: The best way to avoid getting stressed out because you cannot find class pages is to spend time navigating the class pages on a day or two when you don't have to do any assignments. Just surf around and look at all pages. Get familiar with the web pages. And seriously, that is really the first (and only) "assignment" you must do at the beginning of the semester. Get familiar with your class tools -- that is: Blackboard, Dr. Nilsson's CyberOffice, and the Textbook. x x

Advice 2: Then, of course, when you happen to navigate to a discussion bulletin board, why not also get started posting discussion messages? Cannot be that hard to say something about some of the topics -- like "animal treatment" or "education" -- can it? Or is your brain completely empty? Some topics perhaps require some reading first -- especially if you are shy about sharing what you are thinking, but not "animal treatment" and not "education". You have gone through at least 12 years of education -- you should have plenty to say about education! There is plenty to say, unless of course you only plan to post one message about the topic. But that is not really what these discussions are about -- ONE POSTING. ONE POSTING IS NOT DISCUSSING... In college you challenge your brain! If you don't think you should have to participate in debate about interesting and controversial topic -- GET A JOB AT MACDONALD'S, you don't have to talk the hamburger patties... x

Advice 3: Also keep an eye on the Semester Calendar. It is good to know where the Evolution Worksheet Quiz is located. However, there is no reason to know where it is located unless you know when to submit it -- ON TIME -- for a grade... x
