Textbook for Environmental Biology 2406

The textbook editions illustrated below are the books that have been in use or are used in Environmental Biology 2406 since the course was updated for the shorter 15-chapter (therefore cheaper for the students) textbook (before a 25-chapter book by the same authors was used). At present edition 6 is the used textbook edition, but edition 4 and edition 5 will also work. If you can obtain a copy of the "older" edition 4 or edition 5, it will be cheaper. Edition 4 might take a little more time in order to find certain figures, since the figure numbering has changed -- but just slightly. The instructor is in the process doing a few updates to make the course independent of changes in editions -- most of the old editions 4 & 5 are very similar to edition 6 -- so all three will work -- if money is an issue. If so, I suggest that you select the cheapest of these four editions (probably edition 4). Click on the textbook covers for more information! There is no lab manual -- all labs are projects and virtual labs not requiring a lab manual, since the assignments are submitted on Blackboard.
