The instructor was recently informed that the publisher of the textbook used in Environmental Biology 2306, has run out of copies to sell of edition 4 -- which is the edition intended for use in the class for the Spring 2009 semester. The original plan was to switch to edition 5 for the Summer 2009 semester. The instructor has for this reason temporarily modified the course assignments so that edition 5 also can be used already this spring 2009 semester. However, if you can obtain a copy of the "older" -- 2008 -- edition 4, it will probably be cheaper (especially if you prefer to obtain a used copy) and is still the main edition used for the class.
