Hi class I just wanted to know what you thought about the evolution discussion? Did you like it or not? I personally like it, the only thing was that there was so many massages that I really could not to all of them. I wonder how the professor read them all. To me it seemed like a bunch of people talking at the same time and I did not know who to listen to. Once I got the hang of it I began to like it. The messages I got to were very interesting, some discussions did tend to get red hot.

To everyone that is confused: I believe that the reason that we are all confused if because all we have ever been taught is based on religion. Talking about evolution is like taboo, like when you talk about sex. Not too many people like to talk about the subject because you don't want to sound atheist, but it is not that we are. It's just that there is a big blank that is full of unanswered questions. The only thing we have to guide us is the bible, and the any other type of proves like dinosaur bones. Both of these disagree with each other.

Hi Sandy, you're right it felt that way for me too, like everyone talking at the same time. I began to get a little frustrated at first. It was very interesting. I really did enjoy learning that everyone has different opinions. I was suprised to learn how many people actually believe in evolution. What is your opinion? I too wonder how the professor read them all. I think that everyone did a great job.

I know that science and religion are seperated, but I believe that with out a dought God created all things. Yes you might say that science had come with so many things and how could it be God, but God was the one that created them and the mind to come with these things. We did not just evolve we came from God who created everything. It is a very contraversial issue.

I think that all this could be or at least is confusing to me. Even though I go to church and believe that there was and Adam and Eve, but then after growing up and understanding more I've seen a lot of different things. I do realize perhaps that religion and Science can be very confusing. Science proofs many things, while religion has everything written down in a book[bible], but then that's up to you in your belief.

I as a Catholic believe God is our creator and I did not come from an ape. Yes, apes till this day exist and they truly look like humans. Why, I sure don't know but I believe, a scientist investigating the origin from humans will eventually come out with a good explanation that humans came from apes. Even though we look and behave the same way as them, apes are still considered animals for humans.
