ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT INFORMATION

One purpose of the STCC Environmental Taskforce for a Green Campus is to make students concerned about the environment. The Environmental Project for the General Biology class MUST be a group project -- as a group (2, 3 or 4 persons) do something for the environment in your community (e.g., you could set up a recycling project). This is a new project, and as a "pioneer class" a group will be allowed to come up with pretty much anything that qualifies as an environmental project. (This, however, does NOT mean that you will get an automatic A on the project...) A written summary of the Evironmental Project is due the first class meeting during the last week of November or the last week of April, depending on which semester you are doing this. At the end of the semester you will make a short 3-5 minutes presentation to the class what you did.
