STC’s Mid-Valley Campus Hosted Recognition Celebration to Honor 2006 Graduates

South Texas College’s Mid-Valley Campus hosted its annual Recognition Celebration honoring its 2006 graduates on Friday, April 28, 2006 at the pavilion at STC’s Mid-Valley Campus in Weslaco, TX. More than 100 students were honored at the event.

Speakers addressing the graduates included Monte Churchill, Mid-Valley campus coordinator for STC; Dr. Shirley Reed, founding president of STC; Roy de Leon, STC board member; and Jesse Villarreal, STC board member.

STC’s official graduation ceremonies will be held at the Dodge Arena in Hidalgo, TX on Saturday, May 13, 2006.
