STC Board Members Recognized For Their Contributions

The South Texas College Board of Trustees was recognized for their roles and contributions to the College. STC President Dr. Shirley A. Reed recognized the board members at the Jan. 19 regular board meeting held at the STC Pecan Campus.

“The faculty, staff, administration and students of South Texas College thank you for your vision and leadership,” said Dr. Reed.

“The gift we have for you is just a small token of the enormous gratitude we have for the endless hours you dedicate to ensuring that our students have the best education possible,” she added, referring to a framed collage presented to each board member of the district wide construction that was completed in fall 2005.

“Building 16 building in 16 months would not have been possible without your dedicated support and commitment to excellence.”
