A Night with the Stars - A Tribute to Star Supporters of Education

The Valley Scholars Advisory Committee of STC has selected Dr. Ramiro Casso, retired medical doctor, Kirk Clark, President and CEO of Charles Clark Chevrolet Company, and Valley Alliance of Mentors for Opportunities & Scholarships (VAMOS) to be honored for their outstanding support and dedication to STC's Valley Scholars Program. They will be recognized during a special event scheduled for September 21st at the Cimarron Country Club.

With a theme of "A Night with the Stars," STC's Valley Scholars will celebrate the positive changes these three honorees have made throughout the Rio Grande Valley. This special event will include an evening of recognition, awards and entertainment.

All proceeds from the event will benefit STC's Valley Scholars Program, which was founded in 1997 to provide the financial support, encouragement, mentoring and campus-based work to help academically talented and highly motivated students be successful in college. The program seeks to identify students who will also make significant contributions to their communities.
