Enjoy free food, prizes, gifts and fun at STC's all night Registration Rave party!

South Texas College will host an all night Registration Rave party at its Pecan Campus in McAllen from Friday, Aug. 25 th through Saturday, Aug, 26 th . The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. on the 25th and go all night until noon the next day on the 26th.

Throughout the event there will be free food, prizes, gifts and fun activities for the entire family. Everyone registering for classes at the STC Registration Rave party will receive a free tee-shirt. There will be a live band, other live music, rock climbing, obstacle courses, contests and a variety of other activities. Parents wishing to bring their children on the morning of the 26 th will be able to leave them unders supervision to watch cartoons and enjoy donuts and juice.

Students will be able to register for fall 2006 classes. Admissions, counseling and advising, and cashiers offices will be open late to help students through the process of registering for the fall session, which starts on Aug. 29 th . Representatives from the Student Life Office will also be available to answer questions about college life and activities at STC.

"There is still time to get into college for the fall 200 6 semester and we are throwing this all-night party to provide students the opportunity to come see the campus and talk to us in a fun and festive atmosphere," said William Serrata, vice president for student services and development for STC. "We will have something for the entire family and hope that those interested in college, but not sure about their options, will take the time to come by, get a free tee-shirt and gift, some free food and learn what STC can do to change their lives at any time of the day or night!"
