Pecan Boulevard Closure - Jan. 2 - 6

Please be advised that the City of McAllen has notified the College that a section of Pecan Boulevard between 29th Street and Ware Road will be closed for five days from January 2 - 6, 2006 due to construction. 

The City is presently constructing a new storm water drain line to complete what is commonly referred to as the Blueline storm water drain line.  This project will require trenching across Pecan Boulevard along the western boundary of the Pecan Campus while new concrete box culverts are being installed.

Detours will be located by the City of McAllen along Pecan Boulevard directing traffic around the construction area.  The City of McAllen has provided information on the access points for traffic entering to the Pecan Campus.  Access to the campus will be maintained from two 29th Street entrances only.
