The LVN-RN Transitional Program at South Texas College is supported by a grant funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for Nurse Practice, Education, and Retention for the purpose of expanding a career ladder bridge which promotes the career advancement for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN's). The primary focus of our project is to increase enrollment, facilitate retention and assist with the progression of the course of study in the Associate Degree in Nursing.
