Do I have to obtain a permit to park on any of the STC
Campuses?
If you plan to park your vehicle on
any STC campus at anytime you will need a permit. This includes visitors, all
students (including ACE students, part-time students and auditing students),
faculty/staff.
What do I need to obtain a permit?
College ID, physical address, license plate number, make and model of car.

What if I purchase a new car or have my windshield replaced?
If you sell your car or have your
windshield replaced, remove the old permit, and return it to the Facilities
Department (except in those instances where an accident occurs, a vehicle is
stolen or a permit is stolen and it is impossible to get your permit) and a
replacement will be issued.
What if the citation is not paid within 10 working days?
If the citation is not paid within
10 working days after issuance a late charge will not be assessed, but a hold
may be placed on a student’s record until payment is received.
At what time can I park reserved?
The spaces marked
"Reserved" at no time become unreserved either on evenings, weekends
or holidays.
Who may appeal a ticket?
Any person who has received a College
citation may file a request to have the citation reviewed. Requests
based solely on alleged non-receipt of a copy of the citation will not be
honored.
How is a ticket appealed?
A Citation
Appeal Form, available at the Operations Department, shall be prepared in
writing. The committee will review and a citation appeal reply will be
mailed to you..
What do I do if I have to drive a substitute car on campus?
Temporary permits valid for 1 week
are available free at the Facilities Department or Student Information Center
(after hours).
Permits should be validated every
Fall semester.
Permits must be removed when
association with the college is terminated, when a replacement permit has been
issued, or upon expiration or revocation of the permit..
