Biography:

I graduated from a small town high school in Ben Bolt, Texas in 1990. I started college at Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas where I got my Bachelors and Masters in English. I have a minor in speech and sociology. My first job was at Roma High School in 1995. At that time, I also started teaching as an adjunct instructor at STC in Starr County. The following year, I applied for a full-time instructor position and was blessed to have gotten chosen. I have been happily teaching here at STC ever since. Currently, I am enrolled in the Educational Leadership doctoral program at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. My philosophy in life is that one should never stop learning..
