I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the US in 1993. My teaching experiences include the following: Language Arts teacher at Christian School International in the Philippines for 8 years, Reading teacher at Rio Grande City CISD for 5 years, and Reading instructor at STCC since 1996 as an adjunct and full-time since 1998. I graduated in 1980 from Laguna College of Business and Arts in the Philippines with a BA in English and a minor in Foreign Language, and MEd in Reading from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2003.
