Do you want to learn to speak English?

• The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program is designed for adult learners who hold a high school diploma from a foreign country or a Spanish GED. The goals of this program are to assist learners in acquiring English proficiency and English communication skills to reach personal and professional goals. To achieve these goals, the program will adopt the whole language approach while focusing on developing the learners' communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• The program will offer two levels of courses. Each level will offer two courses with listening and speaking combined in one course, and reading and writing combined in the other course.
• All courses are taught in English only!
• Each course consists of a 3-hour lecture and a 1-hour lab. The following are the course offerings:
  

  Level One

  ESOL 0031 Oral Communication 1 (Listening and Speaking) ESOL 0041 Composition for Non-Native Speakers 1 (Reading and Writing)

  Level Two

  ESOL 0032 Oral Communication 2(Listening and Speaking) ESOL 0042 Composition for Non-Native Speakers 2(Reading and Writing)
