Background:
- Worked in public schools (all but 1 year in Texas) for a total of 15 years in varying Capacities (Speech and Hearing Therapist, Learning Disabilities Teacher, Special Education Teacher and Psychology Instructor). Worked 2 years as a Research Technician at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Department of Psychiatry/Behavioral Science Lab in Galveston, Texas. Worked 7 ½ years for Gulf Coast Regional Mental Health-Mental Retardation Center (Galveston and Brazoria Counties) in various clinical and administrative positions.
- Worked one year as Adjunct Instructor for the Psychology department at STC prior to beginning full-time position in January 2004.
