ORIN 0101 College Success
Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
This course helps the student to determine a personal learning
style, manage time and money, memorize information, read textbooks
for maximum learning, take effective class notes, maximize test
scores, think critically, communicate, develop a career plan,
write a resume, and dress and interview successfully for employment.
This course is a requirement for all first- time developmental
students who have not passed all sections of the THEA. This course
is also required of all students (including transfer students)
with grade point averages below 2.0. It is not required for students
enrolled in a certificate program (42 or fewer semester credit
hours or equivalent) or for students who are THEA exempt.
Prerequisite: None.
