The mission of the General Accounting department is to maintain South Texas College general ledger and accounting records. Prepares and analyzes the college's fixed assets report. The department reconciles cash to provide accurate information describing the college's financial position. It also processes and reports accounting data for the entire college and maintains the record retention inventory log for the Business Office.
