Reporting an Incident

 

The following procedures are to be taken in the event of a security breach or unauthorized use of STC computer equipment:
  • Do NOT attempt to investigate the computer yourself.
  • Report the incident to your immediate supervisor.
  • The report must then be submitted for approval to the VP of Information Services and Planning.
  • If approved, the investigation will be initiated by the Incident Response Team.

When reporting an incident, provide as much information as possible, but please do not attempt to personally investigate the system.
